HHA Members Section

Prospective members are encouraged to visit the group during regularly scheduled Park Days. Park Days are subject to change without notice so please email us for the latest information.

Membership benefits include:
- Support from other homeschooling families at regularly scheduled Park Days and other events;
- Subscription to The Gathering Place, the HHA bimonthly newsletter;
- Participation in field trips and other activities.

Membership fees consist of annual dues of $20 per family. New member families also pay an enrollment fee of $10.

Sample HHA programs

Annual HHA Shakespeare Festival, other drama productions, Great Books Foundation Junior Literature Program, Toastmasters International Youth Leadership and Public Speaking Program, science fair, math fair.

Hawai'i Maritime Museum Living History Program, Honolulu Academy of Arts, Polynesian Cultural Center, Honolulu Theatre for Youth, Honolulu Symphony, Hawaii Opera Theatre, Waimea Falls Park, Waikiki Aquarium, Sea Life Park, Hawaii Newspaper Agency, Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, Diamond Head Air Traffic Control Center, Dave's Ice Cream factory, United Airlines, TheBus, Love's Bakery, whale watching, reef walks, United Airlines and U.S. Department of Agriculture, US Post Office, fire stations and many more.

Other events

Camping, hiking, beach days, boxcar racing, water park, bowling, ice skating, family dances, pool parties, picnics and potlucks. For parents, we offer workshops, information nights, and social events.
